Registered Respiratory Therapist - West Chester Hospital - Respiratory Care (Finance)
Hours- Part Time - 24 hours
Shift- 7pm-7:30am
Primary Purpose: The Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) assesses, plans, coordinates, and evaluates the respiratory care provided in accordance with standards of practice from the American Association of Respiratory Care (AARC), the laws governing practice in the State of Ohio and in keeping with polices, procedures and rules of the Respiratory Therapy Department and UC Health .

Knowledge and Skills:
Education: Graduate of a two or four year AMA approved Respiratory Therapy program with RRT credentials.
Required Skills and Knowledge: Demonstrated knowledge of the growth and developmental needs of adolescent, adult, and older adult/geriatric client populations, the necessary clinical and technical skills to provide care for medically complex clients with chronic illnesses and physical disabilities. Assumes charge therapist responsibilities in the absence of a Lead Therapist.
Licenses and Certifications: Currently licensed to practice as a Respiratory Care Practitioner in the State of Ohio. BLS required, ACLS desired.
