IEEE SA Social Media Marketing Summer Internship (Creative Design)

Seeking a Social Media Marketing Intern to support IEEE SA Marketing. This Summer Intern will have exposure to a collaborative marketing environment and the opportunity to contribute to the following: 

 

• Social media marketing

  • Assist with the design and execution of social media campaigns

  • Help create and adhere to regular posting schedule

  • Draft interactive content and version the content for different platforms

  • Assist on influencer campaign strategy

  • Brainstorm and research ideas for original content

 

• Adherence to Brand Strategy

  • Messaging strategy

  • Brand voice

  • Visual branding

 

• Graphic design for visual rhetoric 

  • Create compelling graphics and video snippets to increase engagement

 

• Reporting and analytics

  • Research and reporting on relevant trending topics 

  • Pull and report on findings from social analytics data

  • Share campaign results in internal reports

  • Track social media engagement to identify high-performing ideas and campaigns for scalability

 

• Complete special projects as set forth by manager

Qualifications

• Excellent written communication skills

• Knowledge of social marketing/copywriting ability

• Proficiency in tools for graphic design, video editing, and social media scheduling (for example: Canva, Descript, Hootsuite)

• Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask

• Attention to detail and a demonstrated ability to be both methodical and organized

• Collaborative team player who can take & execute notes for edits 

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint, online research, etc.
