Community Engagement Coordinator - New Richmond (Creative Design)

$30.86 - $34.56

Description:

Royal Credit Union is excited to fill a temporary opening on our Community Engagement team as a Community Engagement Coordinator working out of our New Richmond location. If you are an outgoing and detail-oriented person looking for an opportunity to develop your skills in a community focused organization, this could be the role for you!

 

In the role of Community Engagement Coordinator, you'll support Royal Credit Union in developing community relationships, primarily through the coordination and execution of a variety of community events, sponsorship and other initiatives that help Royal demonstrate our core values within our communities. Some of these events will include community events celebrating Royal's 60th anniversary and our annual Rock the Riverfront event. In addition, you'll assist with media relations and social media practices to help enhance Royal's position as a respected and valued community member across our operating area.

 

This is a limited term employment opportunity starting in April 2024 and ending August 2024.

 

Work Schedule:

Full-time, working 40 hours per week, typically between the hours of 8:00am – 5:00pm Monday through Friday with occasional evenings and weekends. 

 

Training:

Prior to starting a normal work schedule, new Royal team members must attend Foundation Training at our Corporate Center in Eau Claire, WI from 9:00am - 4:30pm on Monday and Tuesday during their first week of employment. Out of town learners will be reimbursed costs related to travel and lodging. 

 

Required and Preferred Education/Experience/Skills:

Required

  1.  Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, or public relations or four years of equivalent experience.
  2. Strong sense of customer service.
  3. Excellent organizational skills
  4. Able to pay meticulous attention to detail.
  5. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  6. Establish priorities, work independently, and proceed with objectives under minimal supervision.
  7. Coordinate multiple and changing priorities.
  8. Must be able to transport one's self to frequent work-related events, meetings, workshops, conferences, etc.

Preferred

  1. Experience creating social media content and writing blogs and press releases.
  2. Event planning and coordination experience.
