In this role, you'll get to:
The FP&A manager at Accela will partner with senior leadership across all functions at the company to analyze and advise on company decisions related to resource allocation, performance, operations, and a host of other areas. S/he will be exposed to all aspects of the financial management of the company, including the typical FP&A disciplines of reporting, budgeting, and forecasting, but extending into support for major strategic imperatives such as migration programs, diligence support, technology investments, cash management, and beyond. S/he will also be key in identifying, establishing, and reporting on the key performance metrics for the company.

Impact you will make in the role (Responsibilities):
The purpose of the role is to ensure that company management has the necessary information and context to make quality and timely decisions. There will be countless opportunities to influence company direction, from the day-to-day allocation of resources to providing analysis and insight on major strategic decisions. You will have regular interactions with both executive leadership and functional management to educate and inform them on items critical to their areas of responsibility, all against the backdrop of driving company initiatives forward.
Expertise you will bring in (Skills and Qualifications):
The successful candidate will have several years of FP&A experience and have participated fully in the annual planning cycle, in addition to serving as a business partner to operational leadership in some capacity. Strong aptitude for spreadsheets is a must, while experience using business intelligence and planning tools is strongly preferred. Equally important to success in the role are strong interpersonal skills, a clear communication style, and natural curiosity. Experience with Software, SaaS, and/or recurring revenue are very helpful.
