ABOUT THE JOB
The USC Department of Public Safety is seeking a Security Systems Administrator to join our dynamic team. In this important role, you will provide administrative support for all aspects of USC's Fire, Life, Intrusion and Access Alarm systems, Closed Circuit Television Video Systems (CCTV), and License Plate Recognition (LPR) cameras and database. The person in this role plans and coordinates systems utilization and assists with growth analysis. Performs systems and user application analysis to maximum operator use of the systems and create innovative solutions to increase and improve performance. Perform maintenance of alarm account databases. Assist with evaluating and developing alarm handling protocols and CCTV/LPR operation procedures. Develop and facilitate new and refresher fire, life, intrusion, access control alarms, and CCTV training. Work closely with the Surveillance Operations Manager and Administrative IT personnel to provide administrative support for USC security systems technology.
