Front End Process Engineering Manager
Job Summary:
FLIR is vertically integrated and develops and manufactures cutting-edge, semiconductor-based sensors. We are looking for the person to lead and manage our process engineering team. The team helps us maintain our competitive edge by making sure that we have the world-class, well-running processes.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Attention to Detail : Consistently demonstrates conscientiousness related to the quality of work, by performing work assignments with an acute attention to detail, precision, accuracy, thoroughness and orderliness.
Management Administration Skills : Required to effectively manage, develop and evaluate staff.
Communication Skills-Oral, Listening & Written : Communicates both verbally & in writing in such a manner that it is easy to understand and interpret. Listens attentively without interrupting and/or being distracted by other things.
Collaboration & Teamwork : Utilizes communication techniques & methods that generate trust, collaboration, open two-way communication and a supportive work environment. Develops and generates team momentum, enthusiasm, and camaraderie to obtain maximum team performance.
Organization, Planning & Execution: Uses organizational and planning methods to develop and maintain schedules, maximize human or equipment resource productivity. Displays strong personal commitment and responsibility to following-through on execution of assignments and commitments to ensure a successful conclusion in a timely manner.

Continuous Learning : Spends time and energy to learn new approaches, tools, and methodologies to stay abreast and move ahead in position/field.

Uses analytical problem-solving techniques (i.e. Six Sigma, KT) to ensure objective, fact-based root cause and corrective action assessment.
