Manufacturing Engineering Tech (Engineering)
Arthrex is a global medical device company and a leader in new product development and medical education in orthopedics. We are actively seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Tech to join our team at our site in Ave Maria FL. This position will support the development, implementation and improvements of manufacturing processes to produce cost effective quality products. Excellent communications skills along with knowledge of manufacturing experience including inspection instruments/equipment will be ideal for this position.

Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
A two-year associate's degree in engineering technology with emphasis on college courses in science, engineering and mathematics or equivalent experience is preferred.
Knowledge and Skill Requirements/Specialized Courses and/or Training:
Preferred experience in computer skills: Basic knowledge of SolidWorks, SAP or similar ERP system, Word, Excel. Problem solving/Process improvement skills, basic costing skills. Training or equivalent experience in blue print reading, GD&T drawing standards, ISO CNC machine code (G&M code).
Machine, Tools, and/or Equipment Skills:
Prefer knowledge of metal working processes including lasing, grinding, milling, turning, EDM. Ability to effectively use inspection equipment including micrometers, calipers, test indicators, microscopes, optical comparators, vision systems, and CMM systems.
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
Ability to comprehend and apply mathematical principles to the degree required to perform the job based upon job requirements.
Language and Communication Skills:
Ability to comprehend and apply language skills to the degree required to perform the job based upon the job requirements listed above. Ability to verbally communicate ideas and issues effectively to other team members and management. Ability to write and record data and information as required by procedures.
