Director of Perioperative Services (Project Management)

The Director will oversee the following functions: clinical practice, equipment needs and capital budgets, strategic planning, utilization/efficiency reporting, information systems technical support, inventory management, sterile processing, project management and all administrative staff. The Director of Perioperative Services will partner with the Chairs of the Department of Surgery and the Department of Anesthesia to ensure a collaborative work environment, quality and financial performance. The Director will be responsible for advocating for the Perioperative strategic needs; advising on the planning and expansion of surgical departments, and working collaboratively with other leaders to ensure progress and advancement of the goals of surgical services. Responsible for cultivating a culture where clinical and financial outcomes are defined, measured, evaluated, and improved and supports this by establishing and enforcing all clinical and operational system standards across service line.
