The Doe Run Company is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator to properly operate heavy equipment in a safe and effective manner to support the operation. This night shift position will be located at Sweetwater Mine in Ellington, MO.

Underground: Operate grader, boulder breaker, and other equipment as assigned.
Responsibilities:
Work Environment, Physical & Lifting:
Regularly works near moving, mechanical parts; occasionally works in confined spaces, is required to wear personal protective equipment, including but not limited to, a respirator, hearing protection, hardhat and eyewear. Regularly exposed to vibration; frequently exposed to outdoor weather conditions and extreme heat; occasionally exposed to wet, humid conditions and extreme cold. Works rotating shifts. Exposed to moderate noise levels.
Regularly works underground and in confined spaces, is required to wear personal protective equipment, including but not limited to, a respirator, hearing protection, hardhat and eyewear. Regularly exposed to vibration; frequently exposed to wet, humid conditions. Must work rotating shifts up to 7 days per week. Exposed to loud noise levels.
Regularly requires driving; frequently requires sitting, talking, hearing, grasping, and repetitive movement. Occasionally requires feeling attributes of objects, standing, walking, reaching with hands/arms, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, and climbing or balancing. Requires clarity of vision, three-dimensional vision, the ability to judge distance and spatial relationships, and precise hand-eye coordination.
Occasionally required to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
