Market Message Lead & Strategic Marketing Senior Advisor - National Accounts (Project Management)
The US National Accounts Market Message Lead's primary responsibility is to develop and deliver new and refreshed Market Message materials on an annual basis. The Market Message materials are the National Accounts representation of the U.S. Commercial Value Proposition and are used by the Sales team to support National Accounts overall growth objectives (acquisition, retention and cross-sell). The Market Message consists of a suite of materials and resources – including presentations, detailed talking points, videos, demos, case studies, and more – that are used to facilitate sales and support the consultative sales process. Materials convey Cigna's clear and consistent value proposition and key National Accounts differentiators to an external audience, including consultants, prospective clients, and current clients.
Developing the Market Message requires leadership and strong collaboration across U.S. Business Marketing's buyer groups, Sales, Solutions Marketing, Integrated Marketing Communications and other important partners. Candidates should have a strategic mindset with an eye on detail, a passion for arming the sales team with differentiated messaging, and an earnest desire for executional excellence.
In addition to the Market Message this role supports other National Accounts strategic marketing initiatives, such as Cigna's annual Client Forum event and finalist meetings. Cigna's National Accounts Marketing Strategy team sits within U.S. Business Marketing and is aligned with the sales organization focused on large, multi-state U.S. employers for medical benefits plans and other aligned solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Successful candidates will have a strong marketing background with communications and messaging development experience. Experience leading and managing large scale projects – including the overall strategy and detailed execution - is needed to succeed in this role. Candidate should have a level of familiarity and comfort interfacing with Sales and a strong executive presence to interface with business leadership team. Ability to adapt to change, continually evolve to meet needs, and listen to and incorporate diverse feedback and perspectives is important for this role.
