Responsibilities
Boise Cascade is seeking an Accounts Payable Associate at our corporate headquarters in Boise, Idaho. The primary functions of this position include, but are not limited to: Processing accounts payable transactions, including processing a high volume of invoices daily, sorting mail, scanning, working with Excel reports. Uses multiple computer applications extensively throughout the AP process. Ability to identify and initiate process improvements. Demonstrated ability to work successfully in a team environment and contribute to positive morale. Manage multiple, changing tasks and assignments by establishing priorities and determining work methods and resources. Effectively communicate with internal and external customers while maintaining a high degree of professionalism. May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications : High school diploma or equivalent. Ability to use basic Microsoft Office applications such as navigating and sorting within existing documents and downloaded queries. Ability to work with accuracy under stress and critical time constraints. Knowledge of accounting processes and procedures and computer-based accounting (ERP) systems.
Preferred Qualifications : Role may require technical certification or associates degree. Knowledge of PeopleSoft a plus. Knowledge of processes and procedures related to one or more business units that AP supports.
