Job Overview
The Copy Editor ensures editorial and process excellence for the development and maintenance of Ascend Learning assessments, printed products, and online learning tools. This is accomplished by effectively collaborating with the content, media, and other teams, suggesting changes to enhance readability, conciseness, and style of online and print content targeted to students studying for professions in health care. The copy editor checks copy at various stages of the content production process to ensure it is free of errors, easy to read, and fits the product's editorial style. In addition, the copy editor must have expertise in Ascend products, their use in the marketplace, and the processes and tools used to deliver them.
