Advertising Operations Manager - Campaign Planning, Marketing Solutions (Project Management)
You will coordinate and co-manage all aspects of the Ad Operations process. Additionally, you will be expected to give input on continuous improvements to workflows and processes to optimise efficiency and effectiveness of the Campaign Planning team.
Responsibilities
You will contribute to Bebop's Marketing Solutions growth and success by providing the CP's with the support to develop their knowledge of the workflow and processes, our products and audience segments, and especially our targeting capabilities.You will help them to partner successfully with their sales teams to provide proactive and effective Campaign proposals, and provide the best possible customer service by fostering relationships with both internal and external clients. Focus on key areas: Service, and Quality.
* During the first 30 days, you will learn about the structure of the business, the team and the critical importance of the success of Advertising Operations within Marketing Solutions. You'll understand the product and site functionality and meet with all of the North America Ad Ops team and -management to develop an understanding of their roles, challenges, and expectations.
* You will establish reporting lines and set up regular 1-1's with direct reports and your manager to ensure clear communication is in place. By the end of the 2nd full month (60 days) you're the go-to person when team members have questions or issues occur
* You ensure you 100% understand the life cycle and delivery of a campaign by the end of the 2nd full month (60 days) so that you can help your team members create campaign proposals in a timely in proactive manner, with excellent satisfaction scores (>4.0 out of 5) from the Sales teams.
* After 3 months you will be the point of contact for all CP escalations for task related issues. You will also help your team with process related questions. This means you will have to have gained a deep understanding of Ad Ops tools
* Within 6 months, you will have established a strong relationship with your team members in which you empower them to build out large scale media proposals, become experts in Bebop audience targeting, and provide solutions to limitations and run additional projects with minimum supervision.
* After 6 months, you will also have established a strong relationship with your North America management team, in which you influence processes, help provide solutions to limitations, and show that you can effectively run your team with minimum supervision.
Requirements
* BA/BS degree or equivalent experience
* 5+ years in Ad Operations or media planning
* 3+ years managing teams
* Advanced business degree
* Experience with Ad Networks, Exchanges, Programmatic Buying (RTB), and DSP's (preferably AppNexus)
* Superior strategic and analytics skills and ability to simply present complex topics
* Strong communication skills, including written and verbal communication experience with senior management
* Experience working in high-growth, performance focused environments
