Executive Director of Marketing and Communications (Finance)
The Executive Director must be a visionary leader who will play a critical role in building a world-class marketing and communications operation that will promote the mission of the SCI and the Momacs Institute. We seek an experienced, highly capable team leader who has strategic vision, tactical good sense and operational hands-on skills.
The Executive Director of Marketing and Communications is expected to be hands-on and work alongside team members. Writing and editing skills are important because the Executive Director is responsible for all SCI communications. Design sense, avoiding banality, understanding what SCI has to tell the world, and telling it effectively, in appropriate media, are paramount skills.

The Executive Director of Marketing and Communications will report to the Dean of SCI and will work closely with the University Office of Communications, with other central Pitt functions, and with SCI's department chairs and staff leads.
