Deputy Program Manager, #4107 (Project Management)



LinQuest is seeking a Deputy Program Manager to join our team in El Segundo, CA.

The Deputy Program Manager (DPM) for METIS will support the entire contract, which is hosted in several locations; Los Angeles, Albuquerque, Colorado Springs and Washington DC. The DPM will support the technical approach on METIS as well as provide backup to the PM for contract programmatics during and in his/her absence. The DPM will primarily focus on the portion of the contract hosted in El Segundo, but will also be required to support and travel to the other locations on an as needed basis. The DPM will coordinate meetings, ensure contract deliverables are completed and given to the contract officer for delivery to the government, support staffing requirements, attend government meetings associated with the program, brief division and branch chiefs and other duties coordinated with the PM. The DPM will ensure Performance Work Statement (PWS) compliance both in scope and capacity and regularly support updates to METIS contract documents. The DPM is expected work on site with the government customer to enable daily coordination and collaboration.



The DPM's primary duty is to support and backup the PM and all the activities required to maintain contract compliant under the METIS contract. The DPM will assist in managing contract profitability, hiring and maintaining adequate staffing numbers and competencies of staff for the assigned areas within the PWS. The DPM will understand and sustain a working knowledge of the space programs within the PWS and the assigned "Core" areas under Space And Missiles Systems Center (SMC) 2.0. The DPM will coordinate with LinQuest contract support, project control, sub-contracts, accounting and other corporate resources to ensure the METIS contract remains viable for the company and responsive to the government's needs and requirements outlined in the PWS. The DPM will coordinate preparation of material/artifacts for the weekly tag up with the Contract Officer Representatives (CORs) and the Primary Contract Officer (PCO) along with any other briefing required/desired by the customer. The DPM will remain current on the mission and organizational structure of SMC and a clear understanding of how the METIS contract supports this structure. This position also involves performing LinQuest supervisory duties for assigned personnel.
