Washington, D.C. office of our client seeks international trade/government contracts attorney with 2-6 years of experience. The candidate should preferably have experience or interest in work with the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States (CFIUS); experience or willingness to develop expertise in the related subjects of government contracts, export control, and internal investigations; and experience or interest in developing expertise in transactional support (mergers and acquisitions and structured investments). Specific experience with the following government entities is especially of interest: the Department of Commerces Bureau of Industry and Security (BIS); the Department of States Directorate of Defense Trade Controls (DDTC); the Department of Treasurys Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC); and the Department of Defenses Defense Security Service (DSS).
