IT Change Control Analyst (Information Technology)

Our Change Control Analyst contributes to the integrity of the Rollins IT universe by aiding in the Change Control framework to be used across all RSC IT groups. They are responsible for the maintenance of the Change Control module in ServiceNow and the Change Control Process that is aligned with SOX compliance. This role reports and improves Change maturity by defining metrics, reporting on a group's performance, and making recommendations based on ITIL and ITSM discipline to the Change Advisory Board.

The Change Control Analyst collaborates with Leadership and Project Managers across all business groups and brands providing guidance for IT changes for major business initiatives, making sure IT changes are in compliance.

 

The CCA also manages the Change Control team's tasks of reviewing change requests for accuracy and impacts, accessing change logs for SOX activities, and attending technical reviews to ensure change readiness and continuous improvement opportunities.

Responsibilities

You Will be responsible for. . .

  • Guide change control within the department and company to ensure consistency in process and communication
  • Provide/consult change control services to RSC IT groups, RSC PMO's, and independent Project Teams
  • Facilitate all CCB CAB and eCAB meetings
  • Ensure weekly change schedule is reviewed and changes are approved before implementation
  • Manage change approval groups within ServiceNow
  • Reports on trends by analyzing change performance data to various change champions, including guidance on change implementation improvements and recommendations
  • Aid in performance guidance to the RSC Change Management Process
  • Ensure RSC Change Control processes and team management align with Rollins core values
  • Work with team members on change management and training related activities
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and engagement
  • Maintain the change management portion of the ServiceNow KB
  • Leverage ITIL and other best practice frameworks
  • Support the Change Management process owner
  • Support ServiceNow and platform administrators, as well as other defined applications and integrations
  • Perform the day-to-day monitoring and oversight of change management and ITSM processes
  • Utilize data from ServiceNow to develop and publish reports and dashboards
  • Conduct post implementation reviews and validate the results against specified practices and associated SOP's

Qualifications

The Experience You Will Bring (Minimum Requirements):

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • 3 – 5 years real life application of ITIL and ITSM practices for Change Control (Management)
  • 3+ years of experience in change management in a corporate environment
  • 3+ years working in the ServiceNow
  • Proficient at leading weekly change control meetings
  • Proficient at creating reports and tracking trends within the ServiceNow platform
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Proficiency with MS O365, including creating reports in Excel, building presentations within PowerPoint
  • Ability to identify and track trends with a negative impact to the RSC production environment
  • ITIL experience preferred
  • Continuous Improvement Experience (Lean, Agile), ITSM/ITIL Certified, ServiceNow Development experience, Proficient O365 SharePoint, Power Point, and Excel
  • Soft Skill Qualifications: Influencer, Decision Maker, Personable, Good Judgement, Facilitation Acumen, Collaborative, Critical Thinker, Strategic, High Communication Aptitude, Resolution Oriented
