Responsibilities: Implement activities related to the Consolidated Youth program goals and objectivesBuild relationships with Sacramento City Unified School District, targeted schools, and community partnersMaintain effective working relationships with school district and project partnersFacilitate youth programs in collaboration with the Consolidated Youth Project Coordinator and community partnersProvide presentations, trainings, and outreach on domestic violence, sexual assault, and sex trafficking prevention education for schools and the communityCoordinate and participate in awareness events at schools and in the communityWork with school district administrators and educators to coordinate and conduct prevention programsAssist administrators and educators in creating violence-free campuses, including policy review and developmentProvide assistance, information and referrals to students and others who have experienced or been exposed to domestic or sexual violenceConduct outreach with other institutions that serve youthUpdate and provide referral lists of youth resources, services and programs availableDevelop an informal network with youth-oriented agencies to collaborate on outreach effortsUse evaluation tools to assess program efficacyCollect data for grant reporting purposesContribute information related to reporting on grant activities provided and assist in completing grant reportsDocument and record data according to agency guidelinesAttend trainings and conferences required by the funders Other Responsibilities Attend agency all-staff meetings and in-service trainingsAttend and actively participate in Prevention & Education Department meetingsAssist the Prevention & Education Department as neededMaintain accurate time sheets and other work-related documents according to agency guidelinesSuccessfully complete 69-hour Peer Counselor TrainingMaintain Peer Counselor Certification on an annual basis Other job duties as assigned
