Field Biologist – Hawaiian Islands (Finance)

We are currently seeking a dedicated professional to support our growing team as a Part-time on-call Field Biologist from our Honolulu, Hawaii office location. The Field Biologist can be located on any of the major Hawaiian Islands but is required to have direct experience conducting general field biology surveys in the Hawaiian Islands including, but not limited to, wildlife identification, endangered species / habitat assessments, and resource constraints analyses.
We are particularly interested in candidates with knowledge in avian ecology and surveys, and bat ecology and acoustic surveys. Experience with botanical surveys and /or wetlands/waters assessments is also desired. The position would involve primarily field work, data synthesis, and potentially task management. The Field Biologist would work with other biologists and project managers to assess potential impacts of energy projects and other types of development projects on biological resources.
