Behavioral Health Program Director (Project Management)
A rural health clinic in Alaska is actively interviewing for a Director of Behavioral Health Services. The Director of Behavioral Health Services will lead a dedicated team of Mental Health Therapist that care for the local population and the Director will provide direct therapy themselves. As a LPC, LCSW, LMFT or other licensed Mental Health Therapist, the Director will work in this dynamic position that is both overseeing the program and providing direct patient care.
The Behavioral Health Services Director will work in an Integrated Healthcare model. This Federally Qualified Health Center has been in the area for many years and is a safety-net facility for the under-served population. Their mission is focused on access to healthcare services for all that want it. The BH Program Director will work collaboratively with other clinical program directors that lead the medical and dental services.
In collaboration with the Medical Director, the Behavioral Health Director develops the organizational vision for behavioral health services including counseling, medication management, and substance use disorder treatment, directs the provision of these services, oversees the management of the behavioral health staff, and works as a behavioral health provider.
