Summary:
Plan, develop and implement the Talent Acquisition strategy for US operations. Responsible for leading a team of corporate Talent Acquisition Partners and Administrators to achieve KPIs. Team is responsible for sourcing, interviewing, hiring and recommending placement of exceptional candidates according to specifications provided by business leaders, and ensuring a superior candidate experience throughout the entire recruitment and hiring process in a legally compliant, efficient manner.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Plan, develop and implement the talent acquisition strategy for US operations. This may include job posting optimization, recruiting marketing channel development, job board procurement, digital and non-digital employment marketing, comprehensive recruitment campaign planning, and talent planning.
Supervise four Talent Acquisition Partners and two Talent Acquisition Administrators. Duties include: interviewing, selecting and onboarding new employee; setting, adjusting and/or recommending hours of work and/or rates of pay; planning and directing work and maintaining performance records; completing performance appraisals and holding performance review meetings; resolving issues / concerns; imposing discipline as needed; and performing any other tasks related to the direction of work.
Remain current on employment law pertaining to the hiring and selection process (including Affirmative Action), as well as employment law pertaining to general supervision / management. Educate others and ensure compliance by the team and hiring managers.
Apply deep understanding of applicant tracking system (ATS) to ensure accuracy, timely dispositioning, legal compliance, efficiency and utilization of best practices. Look for ways to improve usage of the system by the team and hiring managers. Collaborate with HRIS Team to implement changes to the system.
Create an excellent candidate and hiring manager experience.
Collaborate with US and International HR Managers to review, discuss and change practices.
Serve as subject matter expert on a variety of advanced recruitment tools and ensure effective and efficient deployment by the team. Tools include internet posting sources and databases, affirmative action posting sources, background check vendors, applicant testing resources, etc. Continuously monitor performance and return-on-investment and recommend additional / different tools as needed.
Train team members and hiring managers on behavioral interviewing techniques.
Identify opportunities to enhance the effectiveness of talent acquisition processes.
Provide detailed input to the budgeting process; ensure up-to-date contracts are in place and invoices are paid and tracked.
Continuously monitor performance against KPIs, report on KPIs and other relevant data, and make recommendations to change policies, procedures and practices to achieve or exceed KPIs.
Draft new policies and procedures and update policies and procedures.
Manage the team to execute effective university talent acquisition programs; serve as liaison with local universities.
May occasionally manage the recruitment process and life-cycle, including initial assessments, interviews, and offers for select, senior-level positions.
Perform complex quantitative and qualitative analyses for business processes and/or projects. Often manage small projects, business processes or parts of larger ones.

Qualifications:

Education and/or Experience:
Bachelor's degree required.
5+ years' experience leading a team of talent acquisition professionals, with a demonstrated track record of improving performance.
5+ years' experience recruiting or working in a recruiting/generalist function (i.e., sourcing, screening, interviewing applicants), inclusive of experience managing a high requisition load and achieving KPIs in a fast-paced environment.
Demonstrated knowledge and proficiency in interpretation of employment laws.
Demonstrated analytic skills, inclusive of detailed cost comparisons, manipulating data from reports in Excel to depict KPI performance, and/or working with budgets.
Experience and expertise working in an applicant tracking system; Ultimate Software/UltiPro is preferred.
Demonstrated intermediate knowledge of and the ability to work with Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, Internet navigation and email.

Certifications, Licenses, Registrations:
Valid Driver's License.
Recruitment certification preferred.
