Financial Analyst M&A/Strategy (Finance)



We are seeking a highly motivated and intellectually curious Experienced Financial Analyst to join our lean and impactful Strategic Finance team. This is a unique opportunity for a driven individual to play an instrumental role in shaping the financial future and strategic direction of the company. You will be at the forefront of critical decision-making, providing insightful financial analysis, conducting market research, and developing investment theses that directly influence our growth initiatives, including M&A activities. This role offers exceptional visibility, working closely with executive leadership and contributing directly to Board of Directors materials and our comprehensive 5-year strategic planning process.

• Lead financial modeling process for inorganic growth opportunities, own robust revenue model with macroeconomic considerations
• Assist in comprehensive due diligence of inorganic growth opportunities identifying commercial, financial, and operational risks
• Facilitate annual strategic planning process, providing detailed financial analysis, identification of growth trends and opportunities, and prioritization of capital investments
• Provide regular strategic updates on competitor, industry, and customer trends with an impact assessment of how those trends impact our business
• Partner with product leaders to provide financial support for business initiatives, facilitating in market sizing, roadmap to revenue, and 5 year financial planning
• Crafting high-level ad-hoc analysis on an as needed basis, developing analytics leveraging readily available datasets and public/proprietary sourcing.
• Develop expertise reporting in a variety of industry and functional platforms including AM Best, Oracle, and others.

  • BS degree in Finance or related field
  • 3-7 years of experience in financial analyst or related position
  • Strategic experience analyzing market trends, evaluating investment opportunities
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills (Ability to build and maintain financial model
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to think big picture and provide actionable insights
  • Attention to detail
