Replenishment Manager (Transportation)
Job purpose
This position is on the Great Star Wal-Mart and Sam's Club Team. It interacts with all levels of management within Great Star and the customer to resolve issues and present solutions to improve operational efficiencies.
-Maintain 100 % in-stock in Great Star Domestic Warehouse.
-Maintain 100 % in-stock in Walmart IDC's.
-Maintain 97% or greater in-stock at Store Level.
-Strive for OTIF score of 95% or greater.
-Collect and analyze supply chain data. Identify and understand issues. Make strong clear recommendations to resolve.
-Develop models and reports to improve operating efficiency, reduce costs, and increase revenue.

Duties and responsibilities
Analyze business data to discover trends, gaps and opportunities.
Work collaboratively with key contacts of the various supply chain functions at Wal-Mart and Sam's Club on priority initiatives that optimize service, inventory, and cost for the total value chain.
Develop, monitor, and report on Key Performance Indicators that are shared between Great Star and Wal-Mart / Sam's Club Apply analytical tools and critical thinking skills to reconcile plan vs. actual KPI's; recommend corrective actions or qualify opportunities.
Recommend, validate and implement cost reductions, service improvements, process enhancements, and revenue generating initiatives.
Facilitate cross functional projects with customer and internal partners to drive best in class execution.
Work with Warehousing team and Accounting to ensure orders are placed, invoices sent and paid.
Total Delivered Supply Chain Analytics:
o Customer POS data analysis and Score carding – liaison with Great Star Supply Chain Functions and Wal-Mart / Sam's Club to interpret POS data, extract insights, and provide support for supply chain performance and improvement.
o On-Shelf Customer Availability (OSCA)
o On-Time and In-Full (OTIF)
o Wal-Mart Backhaul Performance and Optimization.
o Great Star Direct Store Delivery Performance.
o Demand fulfillment tools – peak demand, weekend ready, modular optimization, etc.
o Replenishment Optimization – analyze customer ordering patterns and identify improvement opportunities with goal of maximizing store on-shelf availability and reduce waste.
o Network optimization – analyze the total delivered physical distribution system between Great Star and Wal-Mart / Sam's Club. Assist in the evaluation and optimization of transportation and distribution oriented costs.
• Customer Interface:
o Build relationships across Wal-Mart and Sam's Club Transportation, Logistics, and Replenishment functions to enhance Great Star performance and reputation.
o Lead, execute, and present customer specific supply chain projects across all levels of management at both Wal-Mart and Sam's Club.
o Manage relationship and performance tracking between Great Star and Wal-Mart Transportation Backhaul.

Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain/Logistics or related or field; or commensurate combination of experience and education Strong understanding of Supply Chain processes and concepts including Imports.
Proficiency in all Microsoft applications and highly skilled with Excel and Access.
Excellent analytics ability with a focus on analyzing, interpreting, and extracting insights from large amounts of data and developing recommendation.
Continuous Improvement – Strong curiosity to find root cause, drive out waste and identify synergies.
Demonstrates critical thinking and problem solving skills, with the ability to work independently and take initiative.
