Process Excellence Manager (Engineering)

The Manager shall display strong leadership characteristics and have the ability to lead cross functional multi-disciplinary teams.
The Manager is in charge of sustainable Management and administration and continuous development of the KPDS (KION Product Development System) as well as of the methodologies and processes to develop products.
The Manager cares for both SCS and ITS product development systems, GPLP and iPEP and all relevant IT systems and any new upcoming businesses referring to product development.
The Manager shall continuously strive for KION KPDS being state-of-the-art for our business.
Thus both processes and methodologies should be continuously developed and optimized.
The Manager shall lead a group of specialists such as Scrum Masters, Change & Training Managers, Agile Project Managers, Global Bus Capabilities Specialists, IT Tools specialists, Process documentation specialist (e.g. ISO Certification).
The Manager shall act according to the requirements of the business units being in charge of primary & sub process such as R&D, Procurement, Quality.
The Manager and his team will work in in very close cooperation with the Management and team of KPDO (KION Product Development Optimization).
The Manager and his team will lead small to large cross functional teams in cross functional process / continuous improvement programs and projects.
The Manager will guide teams in understanding the importance of unified vision and common goals. The Manager will act as a trusted advisor, coach, and consultant to management and business partners on process / continuous improvement programs and projects.The Manager will lead teams in collaborative working groups across organizational functions to achieve program and project objectives. The Manager must demonstrate the ability to create team dialogue as well as the ability to diagnose strengths and weaknesses within the teams. The Manager will teach and build on the core values of valid information, free and informed choice, internal commitment, and compassion. The Manager must be able to build trust and foster relationships within the teams and working groups. The Manager must also have the courage to intervene in a group if necessary. The Manager must hold true to the corporate core values and inspire the teams to do the same. This position will also require Project Management responsibility. Project Management experience is highly desired (experience initiating, planning, executing, monitoring and controlling, closing projects).
