Outpatient Medical Provider (Psychiatrist/ARNP/Pharm D) (Healthcare)
To provide psychiatric services to KMHS patients with mental or emotional disturbances, substance abuse problems, and coincident medical problems. These services will be provided in the context of integrated multi-disciplinary care teams. Clinical duties may include psychiatric and addiction evaluations, differential diagnosis and complex decision-making, individualized treatment planning, psychiatric medical management, and medication assisted treatment for substance abuse disorders. Additional duties as part of the care team may include leadership, education, presentations, mentoring, and staff development.
To improve the operations of KMHS in support of its stated mission. To provide the highest level of customer service to internal and external customers.
RESPONSIBLE TO: Chief Medical Officer
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: MD/DO: License to practice medicine or osteopathy in Washington. Successful completion of a residency in psychiatry. Board Certification preferred.
ARNP: ARNP license with prescriptive authority in the State of Washington with a specialty in area of psychiatry appropriate to care team assignment (child and adolescent or adult).
PHYSICAL CONSIDERATIONS: While performing the duties of the job the employee is required to sit and talk or listen.
PAY GRADE: MD/DO: 141 ARNP: 134
JOB CLASSIFICATION: Exempt
POSITION LOCATION: 5455 Almira Drive NE, at times duties may be performed in the community as well as other KMHS facilities.
