HR Assistant
POSITION SUMMARY: The HR Assistant provides administrative support to the human resources team and provides front office reception coverage. The successful candidate will be in direct contact with employee files and sensitive information. They will be required to act with discretion and confidentiality with regards to sensitive material they come in contact with.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to the following:
DESIRED KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
ï‚· Minimum of 2 years' successful experience in high level administrative role (HR, legal, executive)
ï‚· Adept at using a variety of computer applications, including: MS- Excel, Word, PowerPoint; G Suite - Gmail, docs, sheets, slides)
ï‚· Excellent phone skills / customer service
ï‚· Ability to handle highly sensitive information
ï‚· Conscientious, detail oriented, and thorough
ï‚· Excellent problem solving and decision making skills
ï‚· Strong communication (verbal and written)
ï‚· Good use of judgement
ï‚· Bi-lingual (Spanish) a plus
ï‚· Working knowledge of UltiPro (or other HRIS system) a plus but not required

REASONING ABILITY: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems, involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: High School Diploma or general education degree (GED) required; additional college level degree preferred.

Normal office conditions, with a quiet to moderate noise level. Multistory building with stairs and elevators.
Additional hours may occasionally be required with advance approval from the Supervisor.
