Intern - Government Affairs: Public Policy and Research (Finance)
Employee Competency Related Criteria:
• Strong skills with Microsoft Office suite particularly Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
• Ability to produce written and presented materials - including executive summaries, memos, briefings, and white papers - suitable for the target audience (business presentation)
• Capability to problem solve and think critically
• Basic understanding of the state and federal legislative processes and separation of powers at the federal level
* Basic understanding of the Administrative Procedures Act
• Must be legally able to work in the U.S. without current or future sponsorship
Minimum Qualifications:
• Experience in preparing presentations in either written and verbal form
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work cross-functionally and collaboratively
Only open to a Senior or recent graduate, pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Government, Healthcare or Business related field with a minimum of a 3.2 GPA, or a Graduate Student pursuing a Master's or Doctoral Degree in Public Policy, Healthcare Administration, Political Economy, or Public Health with a minimum of a 3.4 GPA.
