Mgr, Manufacturing (Marketing)
Initiate action to prevent the occurrence of any nonconformities relating to product, process, and quality system
Identify and record any product, process, and quality system problems.
Initiate, recommend or provide solutions through designated channels
Verify the implementation of solutions
Control further processing, delivery or installation of nonconforming product until the deficiency or unsatisfactory condition has been corrected as defined by applicable procedures and/or by delegation of the plant manager
Lead, develop, and implement the annual operating plan for the housing components area; instrumental in developing long range strategic planning.
Monitor and maintain the organization's appropriate policies and procedures affecting housing components
Support the plant vision/mission
Ensure thorough familiarity with policies and procedures relating to Standards of Business Conduct and train and motivate subordinates in the importance of full compliance with the letter and spirit of such policies and procedures
Material Control: Ensure that appropriate activities support the material planning function and appropriate measure taken toward inventory management.
Manufacturing: Ensure that an effective continuous improvement effort is maintained to provide for a safe working environment, to reduce cost, improve product quality, and maintain customer satisfaction.
Manufacturing Engineering: Ensure that all aspects of technical guidance and assistance in new or revised manufacturing engineering methods are provided.
Ensure the appropriate liaison between manufacturing and preventive/predictive maintenance is maintained, supporting group activities or programs as necessary for implementation of manufacturing goals
Lead the development and implementation of the self-directed activities through the direct and indirect functions supporting the manufacture of housing components
Develop subordinates to support the plant vision by: Providing training; Providing opportunities for growth and additional responsibilities; Serving as mentor to facilitators and support personnel
Address capacity constraints for products produced in housing components
Demonstrated managerial experience working in a team environment
Basic understanding of manufacturing processes, production planning, and sound quality principles
B.S. degree in Engineering Management, or Business with at least ten years related experience in machining/metal working preferred.
