We are currently seeking an A/P Technician to work from our corporate headquarters in Lisle, IL.
Position responsibilities include:
Process invoices timely and accurately.
Sort and scan invoices.
Review and verify approvals and accuracy of all invoices submitted.
Answer inquiries from vendors and other departments/locations (via email and phone).
Follow-up with vendors and employees to resolve invoice and expense report related issues.
Reconcile supplier accounts.
Perform supplier setup and maintenance.
Process payments.
Print, copy, fax, scan, mail and file invoices and related documents/reports.
Communicate Company processes and guidelines to employees.
Perform other accounts payable duties as required.
Work on special projects as assigned by the AP Lead and the AP/AR Manager.
Position Qualifications Include:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Completion of college level Accounting courses preferred
1 to 3 years of experience with computerized Accounts Payable systems, experience with Oracle a plus
Must have full-cycle AP experience in high-volume setting; must be able to process 150 plus invoices a day
Ability to interact with individual at all levels within the organization.
Exceptional data entry skills; at least 8,000 KPH
Must have experience with 2-way and 3-way matching
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
Strong verbal and written communication skills with a special emphasis on customer service
