Talent Acquisition Manager (Human Resources)

Position Description
The Talent Acquisition Manager is responsible for the development and ongoing administration of employee full-cycle recruitment and employment programs to ensure all communication is aligned with our brand and vision as they evolve. This position works collaboratively with others to execute an efficient and highly effective recruiting process that creates an exceptional candidate experience.
Responsibilities
• Partners with hiring managers and business HR to develop plans for specific areas of recruitment including intake meetings, position approval, and creating job postings/ads.
• Develops and deploys the GLC brand across full-cycle recruiting which includes but is not limited too managing all online social media, ad placements/postings to ensure the correct applicant pool is reached, monitors methods for attracting applicants, and recommends new communication strategies.
• Develops, implements and trains hiring managers to better equip them with candidate selection.
• Screens candidates by phone, schedules interviews, and assists hiring managers during in-person interviews as required.
• Develops and implements a strategy around workforce analytics for the overarching GLC hiring strategy.
• Capacity to deploy recruiting strategy for corporate and manufacturing salaried positions.
• Builds and implements standardized interview guides full-cycle recruiting.
• Ensures proper pre-employment processes are followed and conducts other applicable pre-offer screening and offer approval.
• Pro-actively identifies a strong pipeline across current roles and future roles within the talent acquisition plan.
• Identifies candidates including a diverse slate to the Hiring Manager for interview / assessment.
• Manages and provides assistance for onboarding (template offer letters, relocation explanation, and general compensation packets, etc.).
• Provides analytical reporting of various recruiting, hiring and retention metrics for GLC partners, coworkers and staff.
• Partners with local human resource managers across the company to help build sourcing strategies and recruitment plans.
• Oversees vendors' (External recruitment Agencies (contingent + retained) execution of the recruitment strategy established for each opening.
• Anticipates Talent Acquisition Trends for the business. Identifies current or future talent shortages/talent trends/new ways to identify external talent for the business.
• The Talent Acquisition Manager operates with a high degree of independence
• All GLC employees are expected to perform any assignment or job task according to the stated safety policies and procedures.
• All GLC employees are expected to produce our products in a manner that exceeds the quality and value expectation of our customers and consumers by adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices, Policies and Procedures outlined in our Safe Quality Food Program.
• Other duties as assigned by the manager.
Required Education, Experience and Skills
• Salaried recruiting experience
• Bachelor's Degree
• 5+ year work experience in full-cycle recruiting
Preferred Education, Experience, and Skills
• Knowledge of the federal, state, and local laws governing employment policies
• Ability to drive strategy, work with data and analytics, and demonstrate capability in effective and creative recruiting and sourcing strategies
• Has direct experience and/or understanding of the job functions within manufacturing
• Experience working with and supporting international talent
• Direct work experience with entry-level to executive recruiting talent
• Able to build teams with cross-functional leadership
• Capacity to create systems and process to drive recruiting efficiency
• Ability to negotiate contracts and develop/administer cost-effective sourcing strategies
• Ability to travel (overnight trips, ~15%)
• Strong leadership ability and business acumen
