Senior Specialist, Refugee Education and UN Partnerships (Biotech)
Summary
In close coordination with the Senior Policy Director and Associate Director for Humanitarian Response, the Senior Specialist will define, develop, lead and implement Save the Children's policy and advocacy on refugee education and UN partnerships. This will include advocacy to promote US funding and policy support for refugee education; support for country office national level advocacy; and follow-up to the Global Compact on Refugees. The post-holder will also develop and implement a strategy for policy and advocacy engagement with two key UN partners, UNHCR and the World Food Programme to promote effective child-focused policy and programming.
