Meet potential customers by growing, maintaining, and leveraging your network.
Identify potential clients, and the decision makers within the customer's organization.
Research and build relationships with new clients.
Set up meetings between customer's decision makers and CHIs executives.
Plan approaches and pitches.
Work with the team to develop proposals that speaks to the customer's needs, concerns, and objectives.
Participate in pricing the solution/service.
Handle objections by clarifying, emphasizing agreements and working through differences to a positive conclusion.
Present an image that mirrors that of the client.
Collaborates with cross-functional team to qualify and develop plan strategies for key business opportunities.
Attend industry functions, such as trade shows, association events and conferences; provide feedback and information on market trends.
Using knowledge of the market and competitors, identify and develop the company's unique selling propositions and differentiators.
Submit bi-weekly progress reports on Leads & Opportunities and ensure data is accurate.
Ensure that data is accurately entered and managed within the CHI's CRM
Forecast sales targets and ensure they are met.
Track and record activity on accounts and help to close deals to meet these targets.
Work with our Business Development team to ensure that prerequisites (like pre-qualification or getting on a vendor list) are fulfilled within a timely manner.
Responsible for supporting and adhering to company policies and procedures.
Performs other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE -
Bachelor's Degree Preferred.
10+ years of aviation experience preferred.
Minimum of 10 years' relevant military experience.
Minimum of 5 years' supervisory experience.
Requires a thorough understanding of the military aerospace industry.
Requires experience managing logistics and contractors within Government military programs.
Requires excellent oral and written communication skills.
Strong leadership and supervisory skills with proven ability to resolve personnel issues, and delegate required tasks.
Strong customer service skills and the ability to deal with difficult customers or situations in a positive and professional manner are required.
Attention to detail and ability to resolve problems are essential to this position.
The ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships is required.
Must be able to work independently and in a team environment and consistently produce results.
Possess a strong understanding of international trade and FCPA compliance requirements.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Programs.
Basic knowledge of ITAR requirements, and international shipping procedures.
Exhibits strong presentation skills, and is an effective communicator.
