IT Business Consultant PP/MM
New Bern, NC / Full-time
Responsibilities
Manages the relationship between IT and the Business.
Connects IT with the Business: understands the business drivers, strategy and capabilities, determines corresponding solution discovery according to the Business and IT strategies.
Analyses business processes and requirements, transforms results into solution concepts for IT services and the detailed functional implementation concepts.
Advises business representatives in regard to the IT services and solutions, while taking information security aspects into account, guides them in decision making.
First and second level technical support. In addition the troubleshooting in PP (Production Planning Module) relevant issues in our production plants nationwide.
Working experience to support team members with SAP WM, SAP MM, Demand Planner, SAP FICO.
Provide user training for end- and key-users for SAP Application.
SAP Production Planning Module (PP)
Master Data and related Functions
Repetitive Manufacturing Functions
Routings, Work centers, Production and Planned Orders
System interfaces (between systems)
Shop floor Add-on (BSH SAP CAM Add-on)
Logistics Information System / Reporting
ALE\IDOC skills are a plus
Configures, integrates and customizes existing IT services to meet the Business requirements
Assists with hardware and software installations
Creates and generates SAP reports where requested
Provides assistance in evaluating business functions to determine technical changes that can be made to improve processes.
Your Profile
Organizational and interpersonal skills to work with users and colleagues nationwide as part of the Information Technology SAP team.
Knowledge of user experience design
Knowledge of digital business models
Sound knowledge of information security
Agile methods including design thinking and project management
ALE\IDOC skills are a plus
Any additional language skills are a plus
Experience:
Minimum 3 yrs on-the-job functional experience with above SAP modules, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
At least two full lifecycle SAP implementations completed as key project member or project leader.
Machines, Tools Equipment (Office and Industrial), Software:
SAP R/3 4.5b, Windows based PCs, Industrial PCs and Printers,Thin Client and Tablet PCs
Normal office equipment; e.g., computer, copier, etc.
Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
