Programs and Business Coordinator (Finance)
The individual will work directly with the Chair and/or Director of each department or program and the Administrative Officer to plan and execute 100 events and public programs per year and coordinates travel and business expense reporting, purchasing, and event budget development and management with chairs and directors.
The Coordinator establishes and implements procedures consistent with University and Dietrich School policies, and ensures funds and staff resources are utilized appropriately. Assists the Fiscal Manager, Languages, Programs, and Centers and developing budgets, monitoring expenses, and managing spending. Coordinates service and performance agreements, honoraria payments, etc. Manages general administrative operations of the Gender, Sexuality, and Women's Studies Program and the Cultural Studies Program.
Background in event planning and budgeting highly desirable. Some knowledge of accounting and/or business operations also desireable.
