CAD Manager (Project Management)
Ensure CAD templates are up to date and consistent throughout the company.
Ensure that the drafting templates are being properly utilized for specific regions and projects.
Continuously review and fine tune CAD QA/QC process.
Communicate regularly with Project Managers and other team leaders regarding upcoming work and prospective project planning.
Interact with CAD leads to maintain production and meet project deadlines.
Create and Implement Training Programs for consistent early staff development.
Monitor and complete periodic performance reviews for the drafting staff.
Plan Team Collaboration Events for different offices/regions?
Support integration of drafting departments across the company.
Monitor workflow requests in SiteTracker and production of the department to ensure an even spread of work throughout the entire drafting department.
Utilize SiteTracker data and the Operations Director to guide hiring and staff adjustment decisions.
Collaborate with IT to improve document and stamp security.
Travel to other Advantage offices.
