Plan, initiate, and manage Information Technology (IT) projects. Lead and guide the work of technical staff. Serve as a liaisonbetween business and technical resources. Plan project stages and assess business and technical implication for each stage. Monitor progress to ensure deadlines, standards, and cost targets are met. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Lead project planning sessionsManage a portfolio of projectsDevelop and manage work breakdown structure (WBS) of IT projectsDevelop and maintain IT plans - outline project status for individual tasks, milestones, completion estimates, and resource allocationInspect projects for quality assuranceDesign risk mitigation or contingency plansCoordinate staff and internal resourcesManage project progress and adapt work as required to ensure adherence to budget, schedule, and scopeManage relationships with clients and stakeholdersOversee all incoming and outgoing project documentation - including project objectives, statements of work, technologies/systems, specifications, schedules, funding, and staffingParticipate in project reviews and create status reports for stakeholders and leadershipOptimize and improve processes and overall approach where necessaryParticipate in establishing practices, templates, policies, tools, and partnerships to expand and mature these capabilities for the organizationDemonstrate functional acumen so support how solutions will address client needsDevelop and manage all aspects of project and program engagement from planning, external vendor relationships, communications, resources, budget, change, risks and issuesExtensive understanding of project and program management principles, methods and techniques Qualifications Strong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to multi-task and manage various project elements simultaneouslyConflict resolution experienceBachelor Degree (4 year college degree or equivalent) is preferredProject Management Professional (PMP) certification preferredMinimumof 7 years experience
