International Accounting Manager - Spanish Required (Administrative)
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Manage, review and validate work performed by Staff Accountants and/or Accounting Supervisors on a daily basis
Monitor and analyze accounting data to produce timely and accurate financial statements and reporting
Prepare, review and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and completeness
Facilitate timely review of monthly reconciliation of GL accounts
Assess current practices and procedures, and make recommendations for improvements
Meet performance timelines associated with month-end close
Assist with Quarterly reviews and Year- end audit
Prepare quarterly analytics for external audit process
Assist with Sarbanes Oxley documentation, timely review and test requirements
Streamline and improve internal reporting and financial statement close process
Coordinate with local Finance Managers and their teams as well as local Accounting firms
Assist with preparation of local statutory books
Ensure compliance with all SBA policies and procedures
Manage multiple projects as directed by Senior Accounting Manager, Director of Accounting or Corporate Controller
Other projects and duties as assigned
Other Responsibilities May Include:
Assistance with SEC reporting.
Assistance in quarterly and annual forecasting and budgeting of SBA.
Oversight of internal reporting function, which includes but is not limited to: financial statements, consolidations, and monthly package.
Management of equity and non-cash compensation accounting functions and related financial reporting.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Work with Talent Acquisition to recruit, interview, select, hire, and employ a talented and diverse group of high performing employees.
Provide oversight and direction to employees in accordance with the organization's policies and procedures.
Coach, mentor and develop employees, including overseeing new employee onboarding and providing career development planning and growth opportunities.

Lead employees using a performance management and development focused approach to assist in goal setting, two-way feedback, and performance development planning.

Education and/ or Experience:
BA/BS degree in Accounting or related field of study required
7+ years' experience, preferably with a public company
5+ years' experience in management of people and/or process with demonstrated knowledge and understanding of managerial duties in staffing, training and development, performance management and employee relations
Real Estate/ Property Management or construction accounting experience preferred.
International accounting experience preferred.
Demonstrated knowledge and advanced proficiency working with Microsoft Office Suite software including Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint and Microsoft Outlook
Experience with Great Plains, Job Costing and Hyperion Financial Management or comparable software preferred
Language Skills:
Bilingual in English and Spanish required
Ability to read, analyze and interpret financial reports and legal documents.
Ability to communicate effectively, whether orally or written.
Mathematical Skills:
Ability to work with math concepts such as probability and statistical inference.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to apply principles of logical or scientific thinking to a wide range of intellectual and practical problems.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
Valid U.S. Passport for Domestic & International travel.
CPA preferred.
