Supply Chain Planner (Finance)
SUMMARY: The Supply Chain Planner is responsible for managing the flow of inventory from production to shipments at the brand level. Recommends buy placements and receipt flow to ensure that supply is procured to meet the demands of our consumers while adhering to corporate standards for profitability and revenue. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in retail/wholesale buying/planning or replenishment management. The applicant must be exceedingly well organized, a self-starter, detail-oriented, and highly motivated.
DIRECT RESPONSIBILITIES:
Oversee aggregate production needs across each SBU & total division
Recommends Buy Placements for replenishment items that meet demand but are placed based on optimal inventory position while meeting all requirements for production
Review and approve all placements of production orders in collaboration with sales and finance
Manage the Open to Buy plan by working with sales, planning, and finance to oversee flow of goods and reviewing financial forecasts
Model OTB scenarios for strategic placements as needed
Provide projections of future needs to sourcing department by channel of distribution for space planning
Forecast needs by fabric for the total division for strategic pre-positioning of greige materials
Manage the PLM group buy process
Work with operations to review stock levels are within warehouse capacity and make recommendations for exceptions
Track performance of Replenishment Programs by label
COLLABORATIVE RESPONSIBILITIES:
Seeks to drive efficiencies across all brands and accounts by reviewing assortments and fabrics in collaboration with merchandising team
Work with sales and planning teams to review unsold and aging inventory
Makes recommendations for replenishment goals and objectives along with demand and business planning
Works with demand planning on strategy for digital key items and replenishment assortment

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS (Please indicate if a degree is required)
Bachelor's degree or experience equivalency in a related field
Minimum of 5 years of retail/wholesale planning/buying experience
Ability to analyze results and identify financial and merchandise solutions to improve performance
Retail math knowledge and understanding
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Team player and self-starter
Ability to set priorities to accomplish the task at hand
Ability to travel to other company facilities and accounts as needed
