Description
As the Subject Matter Expert for Emerson Climate Procurement in Oracle functionality and business processes, position will initiate, facilitate, assist in development, and implement Oracle Supply Chain projects. They will also give follow-up support to users - both internal and external. The individual will work closely with the Oracle Regional Data Management Teams in developing the processes and activities to ensure the data which Oracle processes is accurate and maintainable. This may include, but not be limited to: Developing data verification procedures and alerts to ensure initial data entry is accurate and adheres Emerson Data Standards as well as setting up scheduled, routine validation activities so accuracy is maintained.
Responsibilities
Work with Business Users to fully understand the Business Requirements and concerns of the Day-to-Day operations
Work with Oracle Procurement Support Team to know the Oracle system's capabilities and limitations within the Procure-To-Pay area
Liaison between Business Users and Developers to ensure the Business Requirements are fully understood so that standard system activity and processes can be setup to achieve business goals and objectives
Assist with end user training - both internal and external
Act as a resource for end users to trouble shoot issues or put them in contact with other individuals/groups as needed
Assist with the basic Supplier Master Data Management activity and lead others in support of accurate data management
Will lead in the development of new business processes as needed for the future projects including, but not limited to: supplier communications, data standards initiatives, iProcurement, supplier negotiations, etc.
Assist with Process Documentation to match previous bullet points
Schedule
We offer the flexibility of a core hour work schedule. Employees can flex their start and stop times given they are working during the core hours of 9:00 am – 3:00 pm. Our teams work together to ensure their chosen work schedules are supporting our customers.
Additional Information
Requirements
Basic
Bachelor's degree in Business/Operations Management, Finance, Information Systems or an IT related field with a minimum of 5 years of related work experience.
Experience with design and/or re-engineering of processes
Experience with with data integration and process improvement activities
Must have thorough ERP knowledge - including a basic understanding of Oracle E Business Suite in the P2P area
Preferred
Extensive Oracle R12 work experience; working knowledge of Oracle cloud a plus
Experience working with global and/or offshore resource teams
Good understanding of the MRP/Master Scheduling process and Oracle ASCP
Prior leadership experience in process improvement initiatives
