NP/PA – Outpatient Rheumatology (Healthcare)
As an Advanced Practice Provider, you'll play an integral role in our outpatient care teams by providing high-quality, cost-effective care to patients.
UW Health specialists in rheumatology provide a multidisciplinary team approach to managing rheumatic and immunological diseases, including rheumatoid arthritis and lupus.
We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to:
Education:
Minimum –
If Nurse Practitioner:
Master's or Doctorate's degree from accredited Nursing Program.
If Physician Assistant:
Bachelor's or Master's degree from accredited PA Program.
Work Experience: 3-5 years preferred.
Licenses and Certifications:
Minimum -
If Nurse Practitioner: Active RN and APNP license in State of Wisconsin AND active board certification as a NP in Adult; Adult/Gerontology Acute Care; Adult/Gerontology Primary Care; Family; Gerontology.
If Physician Assistant: Active PA license in State of Wisconsin AND active PA board certification.
All Nurse Practitioner and Physician Assistant applicants must have: Active DEA license or ability to apply for such license prior to or upon hire AND CPR certification and advanced life support certifications if relevant to practice area (ACLS).
Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:
Physical Requirements:
Light: Ability to lift up to 20 pounds maximum with frequent lifting and/or carrying of objects weighing up to 10 pounds.
Work Schedule:
100% FTE, Monday through Friday in between the hours of 8:00 am and 5:00 pm. No weekends, holiday, or call.
