Position Summary: Performs identified accounting tasks. Responsible for assigned tasks such as filing, organizing existing files, inventory records, contract management, general finance department support.
Qualifications: 1. 3+ years experience bookkeeping / accounting or AA in accounting/ business. 2. Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills, strong multi-tasking capabilities and desktop abilities with spreadsheets, database. 3. Pass agency paid criminal justice screening including fingerprints. 4. Pass agency paid health screening. 5. Valid California Driver's License. 6. Proof of auto insurance coverage.
Duties: 1. Review of contract requirements and necessary reporting. 2. Support other Finance positions with monthly closing processes. 3. Address inquiries from other departments and research necessary solutions. 4. Filing of Finance Department materials as assigned. 5. Make copies as requested and distribute as directed. 6. Organize existing files and file materials as instructed. 7. Box and label material for storage. 8. Perform other duties as assigned.
