The intern will be exposed to all aspects of Human Resources function. Recruiting, Talent Management, Organizational Development.
Participates in developing department goals, objectives and systems. Assist with metrics utilizing excel spreadsheets.
Assist in conducting recruitment efforts for all Information Technology full time/part time permanent openings; use of applicant tracking system, telephone screen candidates, schedule interviews and reporting of all openings. Conduct background screening for Corporate New Hires.
Participates in department meetings and assist setting up and attending career fairs with team members.
Assist in maintaining compliance with federal and state regulations concerning employment.
Any additional HR projects as deemed by management.
Adhere to all safety rules and regulations.
GPA and expected graduation date must be on resume to be considered. Minimum GPA 3.0
EXPERIENCE/SKILLS
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint presentation abilities)
• Knowledge of operating scanners, copiers
• Ability to excel in a team environment.
• Strong leadership capabilities.
