Affigent is seeking an experienced DoD account manager. This position has expanded job requirements that include some outside sales functions. The candidate shall perform inside sales and marketing functions related to demand generation within the Federal Government in targeted named accounts as well as perform outside sales functions as assigned by management. This includes, but is not limited to prospecting, quoting, and account coordination with an Account Executive as a partner for the inside role. The candidate will support the Account Executive and will work with the Enterprise Solutions Team to gain a full understanding of the business and the products we sell. In the outside sales function they will conduct face to face meetings with users at various levels within their named account as well as work closely with selected IT vendors' sales teams to provide a comprehensive range of lifecycle technology solutions. This role is a senior level inside sales position providing the candidate with experience in an outside sales role, allowing the candidate to develop attributes to become an Account Executive.
