Laundry Worker, FT (Finance)

Fall River Health Services is looking for a Laundry Specialist to collect, sort, process and distribute laundry following the standardized process and procedures according to policy.
Responsibilities:
Process soiled linen for Seven Sisters Living Center and Fall River Hospital. Sorting of linen into bins for correct washing process. Loading and unloading into and out of the laundry machines. Marking linen to be distributed to the correct origination location. Fold and hang resident laundry for SSLC and Hospital. Complete audit of processing tasks to include counting, weighing, and recording of soiled linens and resident personal clothing items. Maintain cleanliness of the laundry room. Perform work efficiently to contribute to an economical operation; interacts cooperatively with others to contribute to a positive work environment. Perform work according to prescribed safety standards to ensure that safe environment is maintained. May perform other related duties as assigned by the Housekeeping Supervisor.
