Postdoctoral Scholar - Research Associate (Finance)
The laboratory of Dr. Judd Rice at the USC/Norris Comprehensive Cancer Center is seeking a motivated Postdoctoral Scholar to develop and apply innovative molecular techniques to advance the current understanding of epigenomic dynamics in human health and disease. This is a full-time (40 hours/week) position that includes the full medical benefits offered by USC.
The successful candidate will be supervised by Dr. Rice to participate in the design, execution and publication of pioneering research studies aimed at elucidating novel epigenomic mechanisms that promote cell differentiation and cancer transformation. The candidate will also assist in supporting all aspects of maintaining a research laboratory as described below. Candidates should have the appropriate educational background and experience in a laboratory setting with demonstrated knowledge and competency in fundamental molecular and cellular biology techniques and applications. The candidate's combined education/experience will be considered as a substitute for the Preferred Qualifications described below. Ideal candidates are those that possess excellent interpersonal communication skills, meticulous attention to details, competency at working independently and the ability to troubleshoot/adapt to research challenges.
