The SEC Financial Reporting Manager will support the Company's financial reporting requirements in compliance with U.S. GAAP and SEC guidelines. Reporting to the Assistant Corporate Controller, this position will also support worldwide accounting policies, accounting research and implementation of applicable accounting pronouncements.
Areas of responsibility:
Performs the preparation of internal and external quarterly and annual consolidated financial statements including Form 10-Q, 10-K and other periodic SEC filings as required.
Prepares disclosures for annual and quarterly results including footnotes, MD&A and supporting analyses.
Lead the research and assessment of complex transactions, U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting judgments, and implementation of new accounting standards.
Assist with the global consolidation and financial reporting including journal entry preparation and recording, efficiently accessing data from HFM, and utilizing Workiva reporting tools.
Lead the preparation periodic filings with the U.S. census data reporting in collaboration with other business units.
Support and perform implementation of internal control initiatives and Sarbanes-Oxley requirements.
Interface with external auditors, assist with annual audits and quarterly reviews.
When applicable, lead the follow-up from findings for areas assigned.
Other duties, as assigned, to support the Company's reporting requirements and objectives.
At least 5-7 years of related corporate financial reporting and analytical experience. Corporate experience requirement can be combined with public accounting experience.
At least 5-7 years experience with the preparation of consolidated financial statements, footnotes, MD&A, Form 10-K and Form 10-Q.
At least 5-7 years strong experience researching and applying generally accepted accounting principles and other regulatory reporting requirement; i.e. U.S. GAAP and SEC.
Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) user skills preferred.
Workiva user skills preferred.
Microsoft Office suite; including advanced Excel skills (vlookups, what-ifs, pivot tables).
