Director, Finance and Operations - MOMENTUM (Project Management)
Summary
Save the Children is seeking a Director, Finance & Operations for the anticipated MOMENTUM Program, which will focus on building the capacity, sustainability and resilience of local partner institutions to advance the scale-up of evidence-based approaches and interventions to strengthen maternal, newborn, and child health, voluntary family planning and reproductive health (MNCH/FP/RH) service delivery in fragile settings. The program will support countries early in their journey to self-reliance to overcome the impacts of fragility on the population's health. At the global level, the program will contribute to the preliminary learning on best practices and approaches for strengthening health service delivery and building resilience in fragile settings through the development and implementation of a robust learning agenda.
The Director, Finance & Operations reports directly to the Project Director and ensures administrative, financial, and operational implementation of high impact, proven interventions that meet stated goals and reporting requirements. This person will oversee the budget for this complex program, coordinating with bureaus and offices within USAID to maximize impact and other critical partners to provide high-level support for effective capacity building at the local level, and the sustainability of the project interventions. The Director, Finance & Operations manages the implementation of key financial and operational program activities, ensures efficient operational support for the project team, and that the program is compliant with USAID and Save the Children's regulations.
This position is contingent upon donor approval and funding.
