Position Summary:

This is a temporary position with the Anthropology Department at the University of South Florida is hiring qualitative research assistants for a research project examining digital approaches to mental health treatment. The assistants will work under the supervision of Dr. Elena Lesley (Anthropology) with funding from the National Science Foundation. Primary responsibilities will include in-depth qualitative analysis (via MAXQDA) of data that examines how digital modalities affect access to and treatment of mental health conditions in Cambodia, as well as relationships between providers and patients. Assistants will work an average of 10 hours per week and meet 1-2 times per month with Dr. Lesley. Pay ranges from $20.19-$26.44 per hour depending on past experience and qualifications. Interested applicants must be in residence in the greater Tampa Bay area.

Applicants with knowledge of Khmer (Cambodian) language are especially encouraged to apply.This position requires a master's degree in a related field of study, or a bachelor's degree in those same fields and two years of experience in administrative services. Four additional years of directly relevant and progressively responsible administrative experience at the executive level may be substituted for the bachelor's degree.
