Regional Sales Manager, East (Sales)
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Create annual sales plan and ensure forecasted sales are achieved within targeted area.
• Direct and manage the distribution channels activities to achieve revenue goal and other commercial objectives consistently.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of sales channels and identify growth opportunities.
• Drive customer satisfaction, advocacy and loyalty.
• Collaborate with channel leadership colleagues to share best practices competitive intelligence, and successful approaches to market.
• Launch new products in the territory.
• Anticipate and analyze customer (current and future trends) needs, industry market segment trends.
• Prepare and deliver monthly regional reviews to the executive team .
• Deploy sales methodology and ensure processes are followed by the channel
• All other reasonable duties, as assigned.
Skills:
• Ability to work in a team but maintain independent work skills; be a self-starter and possess a strong work ethic.
• Proficient in Microsoft Applications to include but not limited to; Word, Excel, Outlook and Power Point.
• Ability to organize, multi-task and prioritize detailed work on multiple, concurrent tasks, with competing priorities.
• Great level of reliability and accountability as many functions of the role are subject to stringent or changing deadlines.
• Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent project management skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to influence. Effectively communicate in both verbal and written form. Willingness to explain difficult issues and think quickly.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree or commensurate experience.
• A proven track record of successful work experience.
• Minimum 5 years in a Senior Sales role (with channel management experience)
• 1-2 years of experience in working with SalesForce.com CRM.
Physical Requirements:
• Ability to hear and verbally exchange ideas and information with the public, staff and others on the phone and in the office.
• This position will frequently be required to sit, stand, and walk (Below based on work time):
o Sitting 40%
o Standing 30%
o Walking 30%
• This position must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus.
• Use finger dexterity to operate a computer and other office equipment and hand strength to grasp files and other objects.
• May require the ability to climb stairs, to kneel and/or crouch to retrieve equipment and other items.
Work Environment:
Essential duties of this classification are performed in an office environment as well as offsite locations with moderate to high travel via car or plane. These work environments may include frequent interruptions and a high level of contact with staff, other members of management, customers, vendors, and off-site employees/locations.
