Cross Platform Senior Developer (Project Management)



We are seeking a Cross Platform Senior Developer for the Applications Development Department.

This position is to assist Credit Human in becoming the best credit union in Texas by providing outstanding service to internal members. Under general supervision, the incumbent is responsible for the design, development, coding, testing, debugging, and documenting of programs, systems, and procedures used by Credit Human. The programmer provides training to users on system enhancements and changes.

Highlights:

  • Assist with the maintenance, enhancement, and development of current and new software applications pursuant to user specifications
  • Analyze and evaluate processes to determine opportunities for improved efficiency and productivity
  • Develop management reports and queries in support of credit union business management
  • Participate, on a rotating basis, in the resolution and correction of program and other related errors affecting production programs during normal workday and off-duty hours
  • Participate in meetings with line of business managers to understand their business objectives

Experience:

    Required

  • 3-5 years supporting and developing financial applications
  • 3-5 years of Symitar experience

    Preferred

  • 5 years or more of programming/coding experience
  • Experience with client-server systems, Visual Basic, TCP/IP
  • Knowledge of SQL Server, SharePoint, Microsoft Access, HTML5, Javascript, PERL, and CSS

Education:

    Required

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent Symitar Technical Experience

      Skills & Knowledge:

          Required

      • Knowledge of Symitar PowerOn programming language and SymForm or PowerFrame/Docs
      • Team player attitude with solid oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
      • Proven problem-solving skills/abilities
      • Familiar with database administration

          Preferred

      • Mentoring skills for the lower-level Developers

       

      Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30 am-5:30 pm

      Salary Range:  $82,117 to $89,062

      Flexibility:  On site; in Office

      Level of Work: 2B
